Nghe An: Estimated increase of more than 7,700 billion VND from industry
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the Department of Industry and Trade, it is expected that in 2018, Nghe An province can increase by 7,739 billion VND from industrial products with outstanding advantages.

Mining industry: Refined tin output is expected to increase by 300 - 350 tons; superfine stone powder will increase by 200,000 tons. This industry is expected to contribute an additional VND315 billion to production value.
Processing of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products: Diameter capacity increases by about 13,000 tons; processed milk increases by 30 million liters; MDF wood increases by 50,000 m3; frozen seafood increased by 1,500 tons; cassava starch increased by 5,000 tons; animal feed increased by 20,000 tons,... If these products solve the input material problems well and the product consumption market is stable, they will contribute to the increased production value of about 1,134 billion VND. The reason is that the above products in 2017 have not mobilized full production capacity and have not reached the plan.
Textile products: It is forecasted to continue to have certain contributions to industrial growth in 2018, when some garment projects are expanding their production lines and are about to be completed and put into operation, which will increase by 3 - 5 million products, contributing to an additional new production value of about 160 billion VND, a growth of 14%.
Mechanical products are also an expectation of the industry; the output of the two factories in Nam Cam and Dong Hoi in 2018 is expected to reach 600,000 tons, an increase of 300,000 tons compared to 2017. The contribution to the new production value increased by about 4,500 billion VND, an increase of 86% compared to 2017.
Electricity production and distribution sector: The electricity sector strives to ensure safe and stable operation of the electricity system and electricity market to meet demand. It is forecasted that the hydropower sector will contribute an additional 200 - 300 million kWh to the production value, equivalent to 168 billion VND, an increase of 8.3% compared to 2017.

Group of potential products, handicrafts and craft villages: Some projects in VSIP Industrial Parks (Sanitary equipment, industrial gases, electrical equipment), Nam Cam Industrial Park, Tho Loc are likely to come into operation at the end of the year for new products. Along with the handicrafts sector, the craft villages grow at an average of 12 - 13%, forecast to contribute from 1,400 - 1,500 billion VND, thereby ensuring the completion of the assigned industrial growth target in 2018.
