The Prime Minister agreed to allow the Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to take leave of absence due to health reasons.
The Prime Minister has just signed a Decision to dismiss Mr. Le Van Khoa from the position of Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has just signed Decision No. 565 dated May 21, 2018 approving the dismissal of Mr. Le Van Khoa from the position of Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term due to health reasons. The decision takes effect from May 21, 2018.

Mr. Le Van Khoa had high blood pressure, diabetes, and arteriosclerosis, which caused a stroke.
Mr. Le Van Khoa was born in 1961, from Quang Nam. In December 2015, Mr. Khoa was elected Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. Before that, he held the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of District 5, then Director of the City's Department of Industry and Trade. After more than 2 years as Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, due to health not being able to ensure the job position, Mr. Le Van Khoa resigned./.
