Julia Skripal announces intention to return to Russia
In a video message recorded for Reuters, Yulia Skripal announced her intention to return to Russia.

"I want to help my father until he fully recovers. In the long term, I hope to return to my homeland," said the daughter of the former GRU officer.
Yulia Skripal also said that the recovery process was very slow and painful.
She also mentioned the help she received from the Russian Embassy in London. Yulia said she was grateful to the diplomats, but now she did not want to use their help.

According to Yulia Skripal, she and her father always issued statements on their own without any intermediaries.
At the end of her brief message, Yulia Skripal thanked hospital staff in Salisbury and those who found her and her father on the street after they were poisoned.
