3 cosmetics recalled due to high mercury content
After testing the results of 3 types of cosmetics of Hoa Viet Company Limited (Bien Hoa, Dong Nai), the Department of Drug Administration (Ministry of Health) issued a decision to suspend circulation and recall them nationwide.
After testing the results of 3 types of cosmetics of Hoa Viet Company Limited (Bien Hoa, Dong Nai), the Department of Drug Administration (Ministry of Health) issued a decision to suspend circulation and recall them nationwide.
The 3 unsafe cosmetic products above were manufactured at a branch of Hoa Viet Company (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province) including: Cream Victory effective after 5 days; Cream new white to be effective after 5 days and Freckle cream - anti-aging regeneration Lavish skin as you.
According to the Drug Administration, all three samples did not meet the quality requirements for heavy metal limits in cosmetics, due to mercury content exceeding the permissible limit.
Therefore, the Drug Administration requires Hoa Viet Company to send a recall notice to distributors and users of the above 3 products; recall all cosmetic products that do not meet regulations; and send a recall report to the Department before June 15.

The Drug Administration also requested the Dong Nai Provincial Department of Health to continue to closely coordinate with competent authorities to inspect and supervise the compliance with the law in the production and trading of cosmetics of Hoa Viet Cosmetics Company Limited and its branches; supervise the recall of cosmetic batches that do not meet regulations; handle and punish organizations and individuals who violate according to current regulations.
The Drug Administration also requested the Department of Health of provinces and cities to notify cosmetic businesses and users in the area to recall the above-mentioned violating cosmetic products; handle and punish violating organizations and individuals.
