Parishioners wash cars to raise funds to help the poor
(Baonghean.vn) - Washing cars to raise funds to help families in difficult circumstances is an activity that many youth union members of Hung Yen Bac commune (Hung Nguyen) enthusiastically participate in.
In the early days of implementation, nearly 100 motorbikes were brought in by local people to be washed. Mr. Nguyen Nhu Kien - Secretary of the Youth Union of Hung Yen Bac commune said that although the program was implemented during the peak of the crop season, dozens of youth union members in the commune still took turns coming to participate.
Although the price for a car wash is 10,000 VND, when seeing the members working enthusiastically despite the hot weather, most people donated from 20,000 VND or more. After the first car wash, the amount of money raised was approximately 1.2 million VND.

It is known that in addition to the premises at a union member's house in the commune, the car washing equipment was donated and supported by union members.
In the following days, the Commune Youth Union will continue to mobilize union members and youth in the commune to maintain and improve the quality of services to reach more vehicle owners.
