Charity concert raises over 100 million VND to help poor children

(Baonghean.vn) - On the night of June 1, Thanh Chuong Charity Association coordinated with the People's Committee of Thanh Lam Commune (Thanh Chuong) to organize a charity music night "Arms for Children" to raise funds and help poor children in the area.

With careful preparation and held on International Children's Day, the music night "Arms for You" attracted a large number of local people and audiences inside and outside Thanh Chuong district to attend.

With a modern sound and lighting system, sponsored by companies from Ho Chi Minh City, and the participation of many artists and singers in the province, and neighboring provinces such as Ha Tinh, Quang Binh..., the audience at Thanh Lam commune stadium had an attractive and impressive music night.

Sympathizing and sharing with those in difficult circumstances, right on the stage of the music night, many organizations and individuals joined hands to donate and support the program. At the end of the music night, the organizers had donated nearly 110 million VND and many other valuable materials.

The organizers divided this amount into more than 100 meaningful gifts, giving them to disadvantaged children in Thanh Lam commune at the end of the music night.

10 other gifts including 5 wheelchairs and 5 bicycles were also given to the disabled and poor students in the area.
