Training on community-based rehabilitation methods for people with disabilities
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 5, the Department of Health coordinated with Nghe An Rehabilitation Hospital to organize a training course for provincial and district lecturers on community-based rehabilitation for people with disabilities.
Attending the opening ceremony of the training course were Prof. Dr. Cao Minh Chau - General Secretary of the Vietnam Rehabilitation Association; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Acting Director of Nghe An Department of Health and trainees from hospitals in districts, cities and towns in the province.

This is the first training course for key medical staff at the provincial and district levels.
The Community-Based Rehabilitation Program aims to facilitate access to rehabilitation services for people with disabilities to improve their quality of life and early integration into the community.
This is an activity of profound economic, political, social and humanitarian significance, and is an important task of the health sector in caring for, protecting and improving people's health.

During the 3-day course (from June 5 to June 7), students will be exposed to specific contents: Disability and rehabilitation process; Methods of detecting people with disabilities; Community-based rehabilitation solutions for people with disabilities; How to investigate, record and monitor charts for each subject; Overview of the rehabilitation system in Vietnam; Guiding viewpoints and orientations for the development of the rehabilitation sector and community-based rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health; Discussion on how to implement community-based rehabilitation.
