Nghe An: 5 months, import-export turnover reached 509.7 million USD
(Baonghean.vn) - In the first 5 months of the year, import-export turnover in Nghe An reached 509.7 million USD, an increase of 57.8% over the same period in 2017.
Of which, export turnover reached 186.1 million USD, import turnover reached 323.6 million USD. There were 211 enterprises participating in customs procedures; The total number of declarations registered for procedures was 7,427, an increase of 1,129 declarations compared to the same period in 2017.
As of May 31, 2018, the state budget revenue from import-export activities at Nghe An Provincial Customs Department was 679 billion VND, reaching 53.8% of the legal target (1,260 billion VND), reaching 52.2% of the target (1,300 billion VND).

Main export items include various types of white limestone and clinker; main import items are machinery and equipment, various types of steel, rolled aluminum, plastic beads, electronic components, vegetable oil, milk carton paper, etc.

Among them, some typical import-export enterprises contributed large revenues such as Hoa Sen Group Joint Stock Company importing various types of steel, with tax paid to the state budget reaching 264 billion VND; Tan Thang Cement Joint Stock Company importing machinery and equipment to create fixed assets for investment projects, with tax paid to the state budget of 112.5 billion VND; BSE Vietnam Electronics Co., Ltd. importing electronic components to produce phone speakers, in the first 5 months of 2018 the enterprise contributed 55 billion VND to the state budget; Hoa Sen Nghe An One Member Co., Ltd. importing machinery and equipment to create fixed assets for investment projects, with tax paid to the state budget of 50 billion VND.
