(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 11, under the chairmanship of Mr. Le Xuan Dai, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to listen to and give opinions on the draft Project to improve the Administrative Reform Index (PAR INDEX) and the Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) to meet the requirements of people and businesses.

However, the administrative reform work of the province still has many shortcomings and limitations. The administrative reform index and the public administration performance index of the province are still low, requiring the implementation of specific solutions to promote administrative reform, thereby improving and enhancing these indexes. The development of the "Project to improve the administrative reform index, the public administration and governance performance index of Nghe An province by 2020" is very necessary.

The project is built with the goal of building a transparent, clean, strong, modern, effective and efficient state administrative agency system; a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees with qualities, capacity and qualifications, meeting the requirements of performing public duties and tasks, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province and serving the people and businesses better, thereby improving the PAR index, the governance and public administration efficiency index of the province from now to 2020.
Specifically, improve the scores of the component indicators, gradually increase the overall score, improve the PAR ranking, the governance and public administration efficiency ranking of the province. Strive to improve the PAR ranking of the province by 2020 to be in the top 20; the governance and public administration ranking of the province by 2020 to be in the top 15 provinces and cities nationwide.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Le Xuan Dai stated: The ultimate goal of the Project is to satisfy the people and businesses. For the project to be truly of quality and create a good effect when applied in practice, relevant sectors and localities must have reasonable and quality comments on the draft Project.
The host unit, the Department of Home Affairs, must seriously absorb comments to develop and complete the Project with appropriate and clear goals and correct solutions to improve the PAR index and the province's public administration and governance efficiency index. In the project, it is necessary to correctly assess the current status of administrative reform, identify the root causes of limitations and shortcomings, and from there develop appropriate and effective solutions.
