(Baonghean.vn) - At a dinner at her lover's family, a young girl was severely beaten and died.
On the morning of June 15, Do Luong District Police said they were temporarily detaining Ha Anh Tuan (born in 1994, residing in Lac Son Commune, Do Luong District) for the crime of intentionally causing injury resulting in death.
According to the investigation agency, Ha Anh Tuan and Ms. Lo Thi Ha (23 years old, residing in Tuong Duong district) are in a relationship and have set a wedding date in the near future.
On June 11, Ms. Ha went to Tuan's house to visit and have dinner. While eating, a conflict arose between Tuan and his lover, so Ha stood up and left the table. It was determined that Tuan, in a fit of anger, grabbed a folding chair and hit her in the head, causing her to collapse on the spot.
As a result, Ms. Ha was seriously injured and was transferred to Nghe An General Hospital for emergency treatment, but due to the severity of her injuries, Ms. Ha died on June 13.
Authorities have performed an autopsy and issued a temporary detention order for suspect Tuan. It is known that Tuan studied martial arts for many years.
