Nghe An fishermen caught a strange fish weighing 50kg, with a whisker longer than 1 meter
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 15, Mr. Cao Van Tu in hamlet 12A, Dien Trung commune, Dien Chau district, while fishing at Cua Hien beach, discovered and caught a large fish suspected to be a dragon fish.

The fish has a flat body, about 35 cm at its widest point, 4.15 m long, and weighs nearly 50 kg; its back has a red fin, and its head has a tuft of whiskers about 1 m long.
This was the first time Dien Chau fishermen caught this fish, so many curious people came to see. According to observations, the fish looked like a dragon fish - a fish that is considered very sacred by coastal fishermen, often helping fishermen have smooth sailing when going out to sea.
Currently, this fish is being preserved by Mr. Cao Van Tu's family by keeping it in ice and reporting to the local authorities for handling.
