(Baonghean.vn) - According to local residents, recently many trucks transporting soil from Trang Den Lake, Nam Hung Commune (Nam Dan) have caused serious pollution on this route.

Every day, the convoy of trucks carrying soil from Trang Den Lake, Nam Hung Commune, Nam Dan District follows National Highway 15A to Van Dien intersection and goes up National Highway 46, the final destination is to dump soil into a brick factory in Thanh Chuong.

On the afternoon of June 18, 2018, we were present at the location as reported by the people to record the incident. At that time, we observed 3 large capacity excavators digging soil under Trang Den Lake, along with dozens of large and small trucks continuously entering to "eat soil"...

When the trucks were full of soil, they followed each other to Highway 15A; while following the trucks carrying soil, we recorded many images of soil on the trucks falling along the road, due to the trucks overflowing and not covering the soil properly...

The situation of trucks carrying soil spilled along the road is one of the reasons that makes the dust on National Highway 15A and National Highway 46 more polluted. In particular, there are some trucks with signs of having their bodies extended also participating in transporting soil.

Mr. Nguyen Van Xuan - Chairman of Nam Hung Commune People's Committee, said: The above trucks took soil from Trang Den Lake area, this is a lake improvement project invested by Nam Irrigation Company Limited. We do not know where these trucks transported the soil.

People want competent authorities to inspect and handle trucks that violate the above-mentioned regulations on transporting soil beyond the truck bed, improperly covering the tarpaulin, and spilling soil along the road, causing dust and environmental pollution on National Highway 15A and National Highway 46.
