A calf was killed and its meat stolen at night.

On the morning of June 23, Mr. Vi Duc Tan went to release his family's cows. When he arrived at Phai Dam (about 150m from the intersection to Tung Huong village), in Bai Xa village, Tam Quang commune, he discovered that the 1-year-old calf of his younger brother Vi Van Bien's family, also in Bai Xa village, had been killed.

According to Mr. Tan, Mr. Bien's family went to the South to work for 2 days now, the cow is usually let loose in the forest so he asked him to look after it. According to Mr. Tan's guess, this calf was killed early this morning because the meat and blood were still fresh.

Currently, the incident has been reported to the Village Management Board and the authorities for investigation and verification.

It is known that the situation of killing buffaloes and cows and stealing their meat is not a new phenomenon in the area, so local people hope that the authorities will soon intervene so that this situation does not repeat itself, causing economic losses to the people.
