Border guards harvest rice to help a single-parent family
(Baonghean.vn) - On June 23, implementing the "Summer Youth Volunteers" Campaign, the Youth Union of Tri Le Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) sent dozens of youth union members to help two single-parent households in the area harvest the winter-spring rice crop.

It is known that the family of Mr. Quang Van Chung (70 years old, former Chairman of the Commune Farmers' Association) and Mrs. Ha Thi Van (64 years old) both live in Cha Lanh village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, and are in difficult circumstances, old and weak. Despite the hot weather, the unit's youth overcame difficulties to help the two families harvest rice on an area of over 800m2.2.
The activities of supporting and helping people in difficult circumstances and those living alone by the youth of Tri Le Border Post demonstrate the youth's pioneering and volunteering spirit, contributing to strengthening the solidarity between the army and the people.
