From early morning, candidate Le Van Hoang was taken by his family to the exam site of Nam Dan 2 High School to be on time for the first exam. Although the student was very tired due to a motorbike accident and his neck was still in a splint, his face was quite cheerful. After a few minutes of questioning from friends and teachers, Hoang entered the exam room with a relaxed and confident attitude.

Previously, yesterday afternoon, Hoang was one of the candidates absent from the procedure session. Immediately after hearing this news, the school leaders directly called the family to find out the reason. At this time, the school also just learned that Hoang had just had an accident and was being treated at Nghe An General Hospital.

In that situation, the school also advised the family to come and do the special procedures for Hoang, the application for special treatment was also submitted to the examination council. However, after that, due to timely resuscitation, Hoang's health gradually improved. Not wanting to miss the national high school exam and many other opportunities for himself in the future, Hoang told his parents and family that he wanted to take the exam like his friends.

Talking about Hoang's case, teacher Le Van Quyen - Vice Principal of Nam Dan 2 High School - Vice Head of the examination site also said: When we knew Hoang's wish, we were also very worried and afraid that Hoang's health was not guaranteed. But Hoang himself affirmed "I can do it" so the school was very assured. We also assigned a volunteer team and medical staff to prepare the necessary conditions in case of an unexpected incident.

Talking to us before taking the Literature exam, Hoang also confided: My neck still hurts and my head is still dizzy. However, I will try my best to get the best results. After the exam, I will go to Hanoi for a comprehensive health check.

50 years old still "nurturing" the dream of university

That was the case of candidate Nguyen Thi Thanh Van at the exam site of Le Viet Thuat High School. During the first day of procedures, many candidates thought she was... a supervisor because she was born in 1968 and came to the exam room with a very confident demeanor. Even with reporters, she shared very openly... unlike many middle-aged candidates in previous exams.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Van is currently a medical doctor, working at the Department of Dentistry, Nghe An General Hospital. Her job is stable, her children are quite successful (one is a university lecturer, the other is a graduate student), so when they learned about her intention to register for the national high school exam to be admitted to Vinh Medical University, many people were very surprised. However, she has her own reasons: Going to university has been my dream since I was young. But due to circumstances, being tied down with children and work, I was only able to fulfill this wish at the age of 50.

Because she was only taking the exam to get into university, she was quite relaxed when it came to this exam and did not feel much pressure. However, with the desire to be admitted, she also took the opportunity to take a short review course and do previous years' exam questions. What she was most worried about was that this year the exam subjects were in the form of multiple choice and this was the first time she had taken the test in this format.
