Nghe An collects 38 billion VND in 6 months to fine traffic safety violations
(Baonghean.vn) - In the first 6 months of 2018, authorities in Nghe An discovered more than 7,000 passenger cars violating traffic safety regulations. The amount of fines paid to the budget was nearly 38 billion VND.
According to the report of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee, in the first 6 months of 2018, the functional forces organized 15,932 traffic control patrols with more than 58,000 officers participating; recorded 55,907 administrative violations of traffic safety and order.
Of these, 7,147 passenger cars, 10,585 trucks, 2,314 cars, 201 buses, 202 taxis... were found violating traffic safety regulations.

There have been 50,464 cases that have complied with the penalty decision, transferring nearly 38 billion VND to the state budget to collect the fine.
The authorities have strengthened inspection and control in the transport sector, focusing on strictly handling violations such as: stopping, parking, picking up and dropping off passengers in violation of regulations; driving on the wrong route or schedule; not having a transport badge; transporting goods in the passenger compartment; carrying more people than the prescribed number; the phenomena of "illegal stations and illegal vehicles"...
