Heat wave covers the Central provinces, daytime temperatures commonly 35-37 degrees

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 29, the low pressure area in the West continued to expand to the Southeast.

It is forecasted that due to the influence of the southeastern edge of the low pressure area in the west with the southwest wind causing the foehn effect, from June 29, heat waves will appear widely in the provinces of Son La, Hoa Binh, the northeastern region, and the central provinces with the highest temperature during the day commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees, in some places over 38 degrees. The time with temperatures above 35 degrees is from 12-16 hours.

Hanoi area: From tomorrow, heat waves will appear widely with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees, some places over 37 degrees. The time with temperature over 35 degrees is from 12-16 hours.

Warning: In the next 3-5 days, severe heat waves are likely to increase in the Northern Delta and Central provinces. During this prolonged heat wave, the highest temperatures in the Northern Delta provinces (including Hanoi) will generally be 37-39 degrees; the highest temperatures in the Central provinces will generally be 38-40 degrees.
