Comedian Hoai Linh faces protests when he returns to the US to perform
On the evening of June 30 (local time), many Vietnamese people gathered outside an entertainment venue in Houston (USA), carrying banners and loudspeakers to protest artist Hoai Linh's performance with Chi Tai and several Vietnamese artists.

According to a source in Houston, the protesters gathered from afternoon to evening, continuously calling for a boycott of the male comedian and wanting him to return home immediately. However, the show inside still attracted a large audience to support.
Hoai Linh seemed unaffected by the crowd outside. He not only collaborated well with Chi Tai but also had monologues that delighted the audience. After the show, "Mr. Sau Banh" stayed behind to take pictures with the audience, then went to the airport to move to another location that same night.

An artist present at the show shared: "A day or two before this show took place, an opposing group appeared on overseas groups. They used very aggressive words to threaten the artists performing in this show, not only Hoai Linh, but also Chi Tai and Thanh Ha. However, we assessed that this could be a personal conflict between the show organizers and they provoked it, we still performed normally. The audience was very large and friendly."
