An unexpected coincidence when many players who advanced to the round of 16 have similar features to movie stars.

England captain Harry Kane is said to have many similarities with actor Ryan Gosling from the movie La La Land. The two have similar beards, hairstyles and noses, making fans comment that they look like brothers.

Their handsome, flirtatious features and eyes are quite similar. Fans also noticed that their smiles are also similar.

Harry Kane is also compared by fans to Harry Potter star Mathew Lewis. Coincidentally, Mathew himself is a fan of the Three Lions striker.

Brazilian left-back Marcelo has a curly hairstyle that many people immediately think of comedian Fabrice Eboue. In particular, the two are similar in their humorous personalities, liking to make their colleagues laugh.

Fabrice Eboue is a 41-year-old French comedian. He was nominated for Best Comedian at the Molière Award.

Football and movie fans have created a picture showing the two "brothers" Marcelo and Fabrice with their signature curly hair and beards.

France have striker Oliver Giroud who bears a striking resemblance to actor Errol Flynn from The Adventures of Robin Hood.

Flynn was an Australian film actor, best known for his roles as a Hollywood gangster and his flamboyant lifestyle. He died in 1959, leaving behind a prolific film career and three marriages.

The Hollywood actor's smile (right) has many similarities to the French player's. Both are likened to movie clones on the football field.
