Candidates have 10 days to submit an appeal from the date the exam results are announced, which is from July 11th to 20th.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training's plan, the results of the national high school graduation exam will be announced on July 11th. After receiving the results, if candidates feel their scores are not accurate, they can submit an appeal to have their exam papers re-graded.

Candidates submit their appeals at the high school where they registered for the exam within 10 days of the exam results being announced. Afterward, the exam registration units will update the information in the exam management software and send the list of appeals for both multiple-choice and essay exams to the Department of Education. The Department will then compile the list and forward it to the examination boards.

Formultiple choice testThe re-marking is conducted in the presence of all members of the review committee and the supervisory department. The exam will compare each question marked on the multiple-choice answer sheet with the results from the scanned file stored on the computer.

If there is a discrepancy, the review committee will print the scoring sheet (from the scoring software) before and after the correction for record keeping, and at the same time determine the cause of the discrepancy. If the re-scoring score differs from the initial score, the re-scoring score will be the new score for the exam.

Foressay exam, cThe examination boards will conduct a re-marking according to the guidelines, ensuring that the principle of two independent examiners marking each exam paper is followed, and that the marking must be done with ink of a different color than the ink used for the initial marking on the candidate's paper.

If the scores given by the two reviewers are the same, that score will be taken as the review score. If there is a discrepancy between the scores given by the two reviewers, the exam paper will be withdrawn and given to the Head of the Review Committee, who will then arrange for a third reviewer to grade the candidate's paper directly using a different colored ink.

If the scores given by two out of three reviewers are the same, that score will be taken as the final review score. If the scores given by all three reviewers differ, the Head of the Review Committee will take the average of the three scores, rounded to two decimal places, as the final review score.

Exam scores that differ from the initial (already announced) score by 0.25 points or more will be adjusted. If the score after review differs from the initial score by 0.5 points or more, the examination board must hold a direct dialogue with the initial invigilators and the review graders. If any misconduct is detected, the examination board will handle it according to regulations.

The re-evaluation of exam papers must be completed no later than July 28th, and the process of considering and approving high school graduation after the re-evaluation must be completed within two days thereafter.
