Border commune voters propose to solve the shortage of production land

(Baonghean.vn) - Lack of land for production, poor quality of supported plants and seeds, lack of food hygiene and safety... are issues that voters of Nam Giai commune, Que Phong district reported to National Assembly delegates.

On the morning of July 11, National Assembly deputies Tran Van Mao - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and Moong Van Tinh met with voters in Nam Giai commune, Que Phong district.

Before listening to and absorbing voters' opinions, delegate Moong Van Tinh informed voters of the results of the 5th session of the 14th National Assembly.

The 5th session of the 14th National Assembly continued to focus on law-making by reviewing and approving 8 draft laws, draft resolutions, and giving opinions on 8 other draft laws such as the Law on Cyber ​​Security, the Law on Complaints and Denunciations, etc.

Speaking at the conference, voters of Nam Giai commune proposed a number of practical issues that affect people's lives. Some voters requested that the competent authorities consider separating a part of the forest area under the management of Pu Hoat Nature Reserve to transfer to people for agricultural production, contributing to solving the current shortage of production land.

Explaining this content clearly, voter Ngan Dinh Tien in Puc village reflected that Nam Giai people are currently facing a lack of land for production, people cling to the forest to protect the forest, protect border security but have no means of livelihood, making life extremely difficult.

Regarding support policies from capital sources of Program 30a and 135, voters of Nam Giai commune suggested that they should be implemented soon, especially in supporting plant and animal varieties to avoid severe cold; at the same time, they suggested supporting plant and animal varieties with better quality and local origin.

For example, Mr. Luong Thanh Phong in Cang village said that the survival and growth rate of supported trees and animals is still very low. Therefore, this voter requested relevant units to study and adjust the source of seeds or the quality of trees and animals to ensure effectiveness.

Besides, Mr. Phong also reflected on the alarming situation of food safety and hygiene, and the inspection and control of this issue has not received proper attention.

Some other contents were also reflected by the people of Nam Giai commune such as the need to invest in building infrastructure, small irrigation works to serve irrigation in the commune, building a road from Cang village to Pieng Lang village...

After listening to voters' feedback, the representative of Nam Giai commune's leadership answered and explained opinions within the commune's authority.

Delegate Tran Van Mao also represented the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies to respond to opinions within his authority and said he would synthesize and transfer them to relevant levels and sectors to consider and resolve people's feedback.
