Quynh Luu: Strive to not let injustice, mistakes, or criminals escape
(Baonghean.vn) - In the first 6 months of the year, Quynh Luu District People's Court accepted 424 cases; resolved and tried 324 cases, reaching a rate of 75%, compared to the same period last year, the resolution rate increased by 3.5%.
On the afternoon of July 12, Quynh Luu District People's Court held a conference to review the work of the first 6 months of the year, deploy key tasks for the last 6 months of 2018 and receive the emulation flag of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee.

In the first 6 months of the year, the District People's Court accepted 424 cases, a decrease of 51 cases compared to the same period; resolved and tried 324 cases, reaching a rate of 75%, an increase of 3.5% compared to the same period.
In general, in the first 6 months of 2018, the settlement of all types of cases basically exceeded the set emulation targets; the quality of settlement of all types of cases was improved, no innocent people were wrongly tried or criminals were let go; the verdicts of the Trial Council were in accordance with the law, ensuring the rights and legitimate interests of the participants in the proceedings.
The court also closely coordinated with the prosecution agencies to organize mobile trials of 2 cases of illegal possession of narcotics with the aim of propagating the law and fighting against crime among the people. It organized 7 trial sessions well to gain experience; focused on mediation work, so the rate of civil cases resolved by mediation accounted for over 70%.

The work of handling complaints and denunciations is always focused on and resolved without causing frustration or inconvenience to the parties. The results achieved by the District People's Court have contributed to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the district.
On this occasion, Quynh Luu District People's Court also organized to receive the emulation flag of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for achieving many outstanding achievements in 2017.
