The first Congress of the Southwest Women Entrepreneurs Association
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 18, in Anh Son district, the first Congress of the Southwest Women Entrepreneurs Association took place, term 2018 - 2023.
Attending the event were Ms. Tran Thi Khanh Toan - President of the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association and leaders of Anh Son, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son, Tan Ky, Do Luong districts, along with 300 female entrepreneurs and businesses in the area.
In the past time, with the attention and direction of relevant levels and sectors and the efforts of the Southwest Women Entrepreneurs Association, we have actively prepared well for the first Congress event, term 2018 - 2023.
The Southwest Women Entrepreneurs and Enterprises Association under the Nghe An Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association operates within the districts of Anh Son, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son, Tan Ky, and Do Luong. The association operates according to the charter, regulations, and rules of the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association.

The Association of Women Entrepreneurs and Businesswomen in the Southwest region is a place to gather and unite women entrepreneurs and business owners in various industries to share, connect and strive for the development of members, legal production and business activities, contributing to improving the capacity of each enterprise and economic models led and managed by women. Strive for the development and equality of women in the period of economic integration and development... Thereby, affirming the role of women entrepreneurs in the business community and in the cause of socio-economic development in the Southwest region of Nghe An.
At the Congress, the Decision to establish the Association of Women Entrepreneurs and Enterprises in the Southwest region was announced and the draft charter and operational direction for the first term were approved. At the same time, the Executive Committee for the first term was introduced and the President and Vice Presidents of the Association were elected.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Tran Thi Khanh Toan - President of the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of female entrepreneurs and enterprises in the Southwest region in promoting production and business, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of the locality.
In the coming time, the Association needs to proactively exploit and register to participate in programs to support businesses, entrepreneurs, human resource development programs for small and medium enterprises, national brand programs... to increase business value, create opportunities for female businesses to access policies and support resources from the government, especially programs and projects related to the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, Agriculture - Farmers - Rural areas... Strengthen and improve responsibility for product production and business.
Continue to build and replicate new cooperative and group models associated with commodity value chains and establish Small Traders Club activities. Gather and develop members well, unite and support to promote the talents, intelligence, roles, legal and legitimate rights of female enterprises, especially the Association needs to promote its role as a bridge between enterprises and local authorities and carry out social security work well...
