(Baonghean.vn) - On National Highway 48D, passing through Quynh Vinh Commune (Hoang Mai Town), heavy rain and floods caused landslides and rocks to spill onto the road, making traffic difficult.

According to observation, the landslide stretched nearly 10m along the road, the entire landslide took up half of the national highway.

National Highway 48D, running through Nghia Dan District, Thai Hoa Town and Hoang Mai Town, is an important traffic axis connecting the western districts of Nghe An to the economic zone of Nam Thanh - Bac Nghe. Due to rocks and soil blocking the middle of the road, vehicles passing through here face many difficulties.

In response to the above incident, the Urban Management Department of Hoang Mai town has sent a dispatch requesting the investor and the construction unit to come up with a solution. Although the construction unit has mobilized machines to level the soil and rocks inside the roadside, ensuring easier traffic. However, the solution is only temporary, if not reinforced, the landslide will be at risk of continuing.
