Wedding car collides head-on with container, 13 people dead
On the way to Binh Dinh to attend a wedding, a passenger car collided with a container truck going in the opposite direction in Quang Nam, killing 13 people.
After 2am on July 30, a passenger car with Thua Thien Hue license platego on Highway 1A towent to Binh Dinh to attend a wedding, the car was carrying 17 people.When arriving at Dien Minh commune, Dien Ban town, Quang Nam, the passenger car suddenly collided with a container truck with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate.

Mr. Dinh Van Thu, Chairman of Quang Nam province, said that according to initial information, the accident left 10 people dead on the spot, 3 people died at the hospital and 4 people are being treated in Da Nang.
At the scene, the passenger bus was deformed and turned in the opposite direction; the front of the container truck was severely damaged.
At 7am this morning, rescuers removed the passenger car from the scene and are disassembling the front of the container truck to move it.
