Washing your face right under the shower or forgetting to clean your feet are bad habits that many people have.

Wash your face with a shower

Many people like to wash their face right under the shower because it's convenient. However, this is a bad habit for the skin. Too much water pressure can irritate the skin. Not to mention, if you use water that's too hot to shower and wash your face, your skin will become dry and prone to wrinkles.

Skip the feet

Feet are often not scrubbed properly when you shower. Careless foot care leads to a buildup of dead skin cells, which can lead to calluses or dry skin.

Not changing bath sponges/cotton regularly

Bath sponges and loofahs are the easiest objects to accumulate bacteria if not cleaned and dried properly after use. To protect your health, you should replace your loofah/loofah after a month.

Place the soap on a closed tray.

A sealed tray that does not drain can be a breeding ground for bacteria. Use an open-bottomed bar to allow the soap to dry quickly and breathe.

Use shampoo/shower gel containing fragrance

If you have sensitive skin, these bath and shampoo products can cause acne. Use products that are natural and contain few chemicals or fragrances.

Use an old razor

Many people use their razors until they break before replacing them. This is a bad habit. Razors should be replaced every two months.

Leave the razor in the bathroom

Keeping your razor and toothbrush together is also a bad habit. Razors that are not kept dry will easily rust, accumulate bacteria, and harm your skin.

Wash your hair every day

Washing your hair every day strips your skin of its natural oils, leaving it dry and prone to dandruff.

Do not shower immediately after exercise.

Sweat and bacteria on your workout clothes will penetrate your skin, causing skin diseases or body odor. You should shower immediately after exercising.

Not moisturizing after bathing

Using lotion after bathing will help soften your skin. Not using lotion, especially in winter, will make your skin dry and less firm.
