Nghia Dan youth wash cars, sell sugarcane juice to raise funds to support poor children
(Baonghean.vn) - On August 4, Nghia Dan District Youth Union coordinated with union members and youth of Nghia Mai and Nghia Trung communes to gather volunteers to carry out a car wash and sugarcane juice selling program to raise funds to support poor children.
With the spirit of "Volunteering for community life, for social security", the activities of the district's youth have received the sympathy and support of many people.

As soon as they heard that the District Youth Union was organizing a charity fundraising program, some people in the commune supported the program by lending the Youth Union members locations, tables and chairs, sugarcane juicers, car washing equipment, and also donated hundreds of sugarcanes to the Youth Union.
Ms. Hanh, a resident of Nghia Mai commune, shared: There are many places in the commune that sell sugarcane juice, but when I heard that the Youth Union organized a sugarcane juice sale to raise funds to support poor children, I went to buy it and contributed some money to support children in difficult circumstances.
The sugarcane juice sale program to raise funds was held at the gate of the commune's stadium. In just one morning, the youth union members of Nghia Mai commune sold 350 cups of sugarcane juice, and with the donations from the people, the commune's union had contributed 1.2 million VND to the fund.

Previously, the Nghia Trung Commune Youth Union organized a car wash and raised more than 3.5 million VND. The work of the youth union members was highly appreciated and supported by many local people, so in addition to buying sugarcane juice and washing their cars, many people also donated money.
Mr. Phan Van Hien, Secretary of Nghia Dan District Youth Union, said: All the money collected will be given to poor students who have overcome difficulties in the area with the desire to share some of the difficulties and help them go to school.
