Brother-in-law burned down the house, killing his sister-in-law and her children.
Having an argument, Kha used a knife to slash his wife and then poured gasoline on the house, causing the death of his wife and her child.

In the early morning of August 6, Bach Van Kha (37 years old, in Khanh Binh Tay commune, Tran Van Thoi district, Ca Mau) argued with his 22-year-old wife. After chasing and slashing his wife, hepoured gasoline on the house and set it on fire, causing the fire to flare up fiercely.
People around managed to pull Kha's wife and daughter out to save their lives. Only Ms. Nguyen Bao Kiem (30 years old, Kha's sister-in-law) and her 11-month-old son, who lived in the house, could not escape in time and died in bed.
After an hour of hiding, Kha was arrested by the police.The wife was taken to Ca Mau General Hospital for emergency care.
"The house was thatched so the fire burned very quickly," said locals, adding that they were heartbroken that they could not save the mother and child from the flames.
