Last week, Bloomberg reported that the WikiLeaks founder may leave the Ecuadorian Embassy in the UK due to health problems.

Speaking on Sputnik radio, political expert Vladimir Kireev believes that Julian Assange would be in danger if he left the Ecuadorian diplomatic mission in London.

"As we know, Sweden has dropped the charges against Assange, but there is still a request from the US to extradite him to the United States. Now, it seems that they are creating a situation for Assange to leave the Ecuadorian Embassy. Is there any danger to him? Yes, there is danger. It is difficult to say what his next fate will be if Assange leaves the Embassy, because at one point he and WikiLeaks dealt a very strong blow to the self-esteem of the United States," said Vladimir Kireev.

"I do not exclude that at this time the Americans may still want to turn the case around so that it seems that Assange with his accusations helped Russia. Therefore, it is possible to believe that people will mobilize efforts to arrest Julian Assange," the expert predicted.
