Yen Thanh focuses on disbursing housing support for meritorious people
(Baonghean.vn) - That is the proposal of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation at the survey on the implementation of housing policies for meritorious people in Yen Thanh district on the morning of August 10.
On the morning of August 10, the survey team of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation led by Comrade Nguyen Thanh Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation conducted a survey on the implementation of the Project to support people with revolutionary contributions in housing according to Decision No. 22/20013/QD-TTg dated April 26, 2013 of the Prime Minister in Yen Thanh district.

Implementing the Project to support people with revolutionary contributions in housing according to Decision No. 22/20013/QD-TTg dated April 26, 2013 of the Prime Minister, Yen Thanh district has 2,912 beneficiaries supported with an amount of 97.1 billion VND.
Up to now, Yen Thanh has had 1,888 beneficiaries supported to build houses, of which 1,197 beneficiaries built new houses, 691 beneficiaries repaired with the amount of 61.7 billion VND. Currently, there are 827 houses that have not been implemented.
Vice Chairman of Yen Thanh District People's Committee Hoang Danh Truyen said: The policy implementation period is long, and the deceased beneficiaries have caused difficulties for the locality in the implementation process.
Yen Thanh district will publicly post the list of households receiving support for housing construction at the People's Committees of communes and towns for people to monitor and avoid subjective errors in the evaluation process at the grassroots level - Mr. Hoang Danh Truyen said.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Thanh Hien highly appreciated Yen Thanh district's attention to implementing housing support policies for meritorious people in difficult circumstances.
The district needs to continue to disseminate policies to the people; mobilize other resources to support people with meritorious services. At the same time, strengthen inspection, supervision, and remove difficulties for the steering committee at the grassroots level, avoid targeting the wrong subjects, classify needs, prioritize, and ensure accuracy, transparency, fairness, and the right subjects.

Emphasizing that this is a meaningful and humane policy of the Party and State for people with meritorious services, the time to implement the policy is very limited, and requesting Yen Thanh district to focus on completing the disbursement of support for housing construction for people with meritorious services.
