Vietnam Olympic team faces difficulties in first training session in Indonesia
The unexpected change from the organizing committee prevented coach Park Hang-seo and his team from starting the training session on the afternoon of August 12 as scheduled.
According to the training schedule announced by the organizers, the first training session of the Vietnam Olympic team will take place from 6pm today, August 12, at the Sutasoma 2 training ground. This ground is located in the military airport area, and permission is required to enter and exit.
Because the training ground is 48 kilometers away from the hotel where the team is staying, in the southern city of Cikarang, and traffic jams often occur, coach Park Hang-seo and his players had to get on the bus from 4 p.m.
However, when the whole team was on the bus and preparing to leave, the Vietnam Olympic team received notice from the organizing committee that the practice session was moved up to 8:00 p.m.

While waiting for his assistants to contact the organizing committee to handle the situation, Coach Park Hang-seo "put out the fire" by taking the whole team to visit the Wibawa Mukti Stadium. This football field with a capacity of nearly 29,000 seats in Cikarang will be the main competition venue for the Vietnam Olympic team in the group stage of the 2018 Asian Games men's football.

Vietnam Olympic team arrived in Indonesia on the afternoon of August 11. The team is in Group D, facing Pakistan on August 14, Nepal on August 16 and Japan on August 19.
