Border guards give cows to poor households in Tuong Duong

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 12, Nghe An Border Guard Command coordinated with Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district to organize the giving of breeding cows to poor households in the area.

Authorized by the Provincial Border Guard Command, Tam Hop Border Guard Station donated 5 cows as capital to develop livestock farming for 5 poor households in Phong, Vang Mon and Pha Lom villages, Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district with a total amount of 50 million VND. This is the amount contributed by officers and soldiers of Nghe An Border Guard to support poor communes in the West to develop their economy.

To ensure the quality and good development of breeding cows, Tam Hop Border Guard Station has deployed staff to survey and select quality breeding cows in the area, suitable for the climate and soil, to buy and give to the people.

Along with supporting breeding cows, Tam Hop Border Guard Station helps families with techniques for building barns and caring for the animals to grow, in order to help families gradually develop their economy and reduce poverty.
