After 2 weeks of being out of contact and not going to work, Mr. Phong suddenly returned to the headquarters of the People's Committee of Nam N'Jang commune to work. According to a leader of the People's Committee of Dak Song district, this unit is currently taking steps to handle the case because he was involved in a gambling case.

On the afternoon of August 13, a leader of the Dak Song District Party Committee (Dak Nong Province) said that he had received a notice from the Dak Nong Provincial Police regarding the fact that Mr. Nguyen Hong Phong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam N'Jang Commune had not come to work for many days.

“The police informed that Mr. Phong committed gambling, but the extent of the crime is still unknown. The district is currently taking steps to handle the case according to regulations,” the leader added.

On the same afternoon, a leader of the Nam N'Jang Commune Party Committee also confirmed that Mr. Nguyen Hong Phong had returned to the office after 2 weeks of leaving the office without reason. "Mr. Phong returned on August 11 (Saturday morning) and went to the office this morning. The Party Committee has requested the Commune People's Committee and Mr. Phong personally to report the incident."

Previously, for many consecutive days, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam N'Jang commune was absent from work, but no one in the agency or the leaders of Dak Song district knew where he went. The local authorities went to his house to look for him and contacted him by phone but were unable to contact him.
