Vinamilk launches the first A2 fresh milk product in Vietnam

With a system of product introduction stores spread across the country, consumers have the opportunity to buy and enjoy Vinamilk 100% A2 pasteurized fresh milk products, one of the latest technologies in the dairy industry and has only appeared in developed markets such as Australia, New Zealand, the US, etc. This product is pioneered by Vinamilk to bring to Vietnamese consumers, in order to meet the more diverse needs for high-quality health care foods of Vietnamese families.

On June 28, 2018, Vinamilk's A2 cow herd imported from New Zealand produced the first batch of 100% A2 fresh milk. A2 cows and A2 milk have a long history. A2 milk comes from purebred A2 cows, containing 100% Beta-Casein A2 protein, while current milk often contains two types of Beta-Casein A1 and Beta-Casein A2 protein in parallel due to the natural evolution of cows. Beta-Casein A2 protein is considered by studies around the world to be easily absorbed, especially for people who are sensitive to cow's milk protein, thereby maximizing the benefits of the nutrients in milk. To obtain the best quality natural A2 milk, the key is the purebred A2 cow herd - the "cows" selected from individuals identified as carrying the A2/A2 gene through gene testing using DNA from soft tissues.

Vinamilk is the first dairy company in Vietnam to invest in importing nearly 200 purebred A2 dairy cows from New Zealand, a country with the world's leading dairy farming and production industry, and also the place where the famous A2 milk line was researched. The mother cows come from carefully selected farms and the A2 calves are selected a second time, quarantined and cared for according to special standards in New Zealand before being imported to Vietnam.

According to Ms. My Duyen (Hanoi) - a Vinamilk customer, "100% A2 fresh milk is a product that I have learned a lot about from nutritional information sites around the world, but in Vietnam there is still no official, reliable source of supply. Vinamilk's launch of A2 milk has solved this problem for me. After trying this milk, my children really like the taste of this product. This is a new choice for my family."

After the first batch of A2 milk from the New Zealand A2 cow herd was born at Thong Nhat dairy farm, Thanh Hoa on June 28, 2018, 100% A2 pasteurized milk products reached consumers, bringing another choice of premium natural foods. Vinamilk 100% A2 pasteurized fresh milk from purebred A2 cows imported from New Zealand once again affirms Vinamilk's commitment - always pioneering in bringing superior international quality products, meeting the increasingly high-end and diverse nutritional needs of Vietnamese people.
