Nguyen The Linh is a Nam Dinh artist who has been working in the comic book industry in Hanoi for 15 years. Since 2013, every summer, the artist born in 1985 has traveled across Vietnam by motorbike and painted about the places he has been.
While other people often take pictures of the places they have been, Linh chooses to draw. It could be a person playing the guitar, a girl reading a book or using her smartphone in a coffee shop, or a person he accidentally met while drinking iced tea on the sidewalk.
