South Korean President Moon Jae-in said he aims to ensure freedom of movement between the two Koreas and create a unified economic community, - according to Yonhap.

"We must overcome division to survive and develop. Although political unification is far from being achieved, establishing peace between the South and the North, residents visiting each other and forming a single economic community are the real solutions for us," the South Korean leader said.

He reiterated that "peace and prosperity on the Korean peninsula is the promise that the two leaders announced to the rest of the world."

"I hope that the complete denuclearization of North Korea and the relevant measures taken by the United States will be realized," he added.
