Visiting two police officers injured while helping people avoid the storm
(Baonghean.vn) - Currently, the health of the two police officers has stabilized and they are receiving intensive treatment at the Southwest Regional General Hospital.
To help people evacuate to safety due to the severe impact of storm No. 4, on the evening of August 17, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Con Cuong district coordinated with local forces and authorities to evacuate nearly 40 households in Block 4 of Con Cuong town that were isolated in the rain and floods.
Here, the water level rises to an alarming level, which can cause serious landslides affecting people's lives and property, especially households along the Ca River.
While urgently helping people move their property to ensure no damage or loss due to rising water, two soldiers, Nguyen Dinh Quan, a 20-year-old conscript police officer, and 24-year-old Lieutenant Nguyen Van Hoa, of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department No. 6 of the province, were seriously injured.
