Giving gifts, free medical examination and medicine to flood victims
(Baonghean.vn) - On August 18, the Nghe An Border Guard Command organized a working delegation to visit, give gifts, examine and provide medicine to the people of Ba village, Huu Kiem commune, Ky Son district, who suffered heavy damage due to floods after the circulation of storm No. 4.

Ba village has 127 households, the recent rains and floods have caused dozens of households in the village to be flooded. Of these, 4 households had their houses completely flooded, 3 other households had 1/3 of their houses flooded, fortunately there were no casualties. The rain and floods have damaged many properties, affecting the daily lives of the people.

The Border Guard delegation presented 127 boxes of instant noodles to 127 households in the village, supported 4 households whose houses were completely flooded with 1 million VND each, and 3 households whose houses were 1/3 flooded with 500,000 VND each, with a total value of more than 20 million VND. The provincial Border Guard medical staff examined, provided medical advice, and provided free medicine worth 10 million VND to more than 450 people.
