This is a boarding school for ethnic minority students in remote villages of Con Cuong district. In the 2018-2019 school year, the school has 300 students, including 75 new grade 6 students. Before the announcement of the admission schedule on August 27, the school, parents and students had fully prepared all resources and facilities for the new school year.

Vi Thi Anh Tho, a student of class 6A1, sobbed: "My house is in Khe Lo village, Mon Son border commune. When I went to school, my parents took me here and bought me many personal belongings as well as pens and notebooks for my new school. The rain flooded the dormitory, all the belongings and books were damaged. The new school year is approaching, my family's circumstances are difficult, where is the money to buy new things?"
