Yesterday, the flood in the lower Thuong River peaked at 4.98m, 0.32m below BĐ2. It is forecasted that the flood in the lower Thuong River and rivers in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An will continue to decrease. In the lower Ca River, the water level fluctuates at its peak, in Nam Dan (Nghe An), it peaked at 6.6m, 0.3m below BĐ2, then slowly decreased.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, there is a high risk of landslides in mountainous areas of provinces such as Lai Chau, Son La, Hoa Binh, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An; flooding in low-lying areas, especially in districts of Thach Thanh, Yen Dinh (Thanh Hoa); Hung Nguyen (Nghe An). Disaster risk level: Level 1-2.
