Coming to the guava garden of Ms. La Thi Bich Ha's family in Hamlet 19/5, Dinh Son Commune, we could not help but feel sorry. More than 4 sao of guava that had been planted for 3 years by her family was in the harvest period and was almost completely lost, with guavas falling all over the garden. Ms. Ha said: In the past few days, the rain and floods have submerged 2/3 of the family's guava garden with nearly 200 trees. After 5 days of being submerged in water, the entire guava garden began to wilt, the fruit fell all over the garden and rotted. The previously fallen fruit was swept away by the flood water and piled up in the ditch, but the amount of guava collected in the garden in the past 2 days has reached 400 kg, with a loss of nearly 15 million VND.

After the flood, not only did guava trees fall, but many orange areas that were in the preparation period for harvest also fell en masse, causing farmers to worry. Walking along the orange gardens that will be harvested in early September in village 19/5, village 323, Dinh Son commune, fallen oranges were lying everywhere.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue's family in village 19/5 planted 500 Van Du orange trees on an area of nearly 1 hectare. According to Ms. Hue, orange trees take about 4 years to bear fruit. In addition to initial costs such as land preparation and seedlings, her family has to invest about 50 million VND/year for care.
However, just in the past 3 days of flooding, oranges fell all over the place, had to be picked up and dumped, nearly 200 kg, and now they continue to fall a lot.
