Awarding Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with achievements in Su-22 search and rescue
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 29, the Commander of the Air Defense - Air Force organized a ceremony to award Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals of Nghia Dan district for their achievements in the search and rescue mission of the Su-22 aircraft on July 26, 2018.

As reported, at 11:16 a.m. on July 26, Su-22 aircraft, serial number 8551 of Air Force Regiment 921, Division 371, Air Defense - Air Force, was on a training flight, lost contact at 11:35 a.m. and crashed in Dua village, Nghia Yen commune (Nghia Dan).
Immediately after receiving information about the plane crash, Nghia Dan district coordinated with functional units of Nghe An province, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Air Defense - Air Force to protect the scene and mobilize forces and means to organize search and rescue.
