HAGL midfielder scores a super goal, Vietnam Olympic team loses 1-3 to Korea

The highlight of the match came in the 70th minute. Vietnam Olympic team was awarded a free kick with a beautiful angle. Midfielder Minh Vuong made a bold shot, goalkeeper Hyon-woo, who played at the 2018 World Cup, jumped as far as he could but was still unable to block it. The score was reduced to 1-3 for Vietnam Olympic team.
Minutes later, Cong Phuong came on to replace Anh Duc. Immediately after entering the field, Cong Phuong calmly handled the ball before opening the wing for Van Thanh, but Thanh hesitated to finish and let the Korean player retreat to clear the ball right at his feet.
The 83rd minute was the most regrettable chance for Vietnam Olympic in the second half. A corner kick from the left wing unexpectedly brought the ball to Xuan Manh's position. Unfortunately, the left-back playing for SLNA shot in a passive position with his thigh, missing the post, to the regret of the fans.
In the end, Vietnam Olympic team lost 1-3 to South Korea, ending a brave match. Coach Park Hang Seo and his team will compete for the bronze medal on September 1.
