The record flood discharge is causing deep flooding downstream of Ban Ve Hydropower Plant. Ban Ve Bridge (Yen Na Commune) has broken and been swept away. Fortunately, there were no casualties at the time of the incident. Ban Ve Bridge is made of concrete and is the only road connecting Ban Ve with the remaining villages. This bridge was built more than 10 years ago.
