On September 1, the Krong Pak District Police (Dak Lak) said that the unit had just transferred the case file of Huynh Be - former Principal of Ngo May Secondary School in Vu Bon Commune, who committed fraud by receiving over 1 billion VND in money to run a job to the Investigation Police, Dak Lak Provincial Police to continue investigating according to their authority.

Previously, on March 28, Krong Pak District Police prosecuted and temporarily detained Huynh Be for receiving 300 million VND to bribe Chu Thi Long's son in the same district to get a job at Dak Lak Pedagogical College.

Although he received money from Ms. Long, Mr. Huynh Be could not find a job and did not return the money to her.

During the investigation, Huynh Be also confessed: From 2013 to 2017, he received a total of 890 million VND to bribe 11 other people. Of these, 8 promised to hire them as teachers on the state payroll.

And 3 cases promised to accept contract teaching jobs at the school where Mr. Be was the principal. But later, Huynh Be could not get any of these 11 cases.

Krong Pak District Police also received complaints from 6 other cases with a total amount of more than 1 billion VND. However, Huynh Be said that these people were just borrowing money normally and had nothing to do with applying for a job.
