Traveling across the country, stealing black boxes from container trucks
Three thieves were driving together in a car. When they saw the driver stop the container truck to rest, they tried to break open the door and steal the black box to sell.
On September 6, Cam Xuyen District Police (Ha Tinh) said they were temporarily detaining Nguyen Viet Hao (28 years old, residing in Vinh Phuc), Vo Van Hong (19 years old, residing in Vinh Long), and Le Van An (24 years old, residing in Tra Vinh) to investigate the crime.Theft of property, according to Article 173 of the 2015 Penal Code.

According to the investigation documents, from mid-August until now, Hao's group has been using cars to "patrol" across the country on national highways from the South to the North. When they see a container truck with a driver stopping to eat, they try to break in, open the car door, and steal the black box (a journey monitoring device).
On August 22, a group of thieves were caught red-handed by police in Cam Xuyen town (Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh). Authorities seized a car, 10 black boxes from a container truck originating from the US, a stun gun, an electric baton, and pepper spray.

Cam Xuyen District Police are contacting the victims to report the crime and get their property back.
