Mother wrapped 18 birthday gifts for her son before she died
Knowing that she would not survive breast cancer, the British mother prepared a future birthday present for her child.

Estimated that I don't have much time left to live, from last month,Rachael Bland has prepared 18 birthday gift sets for her son.Freddie was 3 for the next 18 years of his life, and was kept by his sister-in-law. She also gathered asetShe collected her notebooks, perfumes, and other personal items to give to her son. She hoped that when he grew up, he would know what she had written, what her personality was like, and what she smelled like. SheI hope that the gifts and handwritten notes can leave a mark of my love for my child for many years to come, so that he knows how much I love him.
She also said that she was not afraid of death, but was extremely worried about having to leave her husband and children. She had to restrain herself a lot to not think about her son growing up without a mother.
Rachael confided onHuffPost:“I sent Steve's (Rachael's husband) sister everything I wanted for Freddie and his future. Steve was so upset and probably couldn't bear it, butHis sister will help me make my wishes come true, like not cutting Freddie's hair too short unless he really wants it, sending him to the best school...".
Rachael and her husband married in 2013 and have lived in Cherie ever since. They were colleagues atBBC.
Rachaelis also writing a memoir, “For Freddie,” for his son.However, while the book was still unfinished, todayOn September 5, the female MC passed away at the age of 40.
