Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong awarded 65 and 70-year Party membership badges in Do Luong
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 7, Do Luong District Party Committee held a ceremony to award 65 and 70 years of Party membership badges on September 2, 2018. Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, departments, branches and organizations of Do Luong district.

Among the 15 party members awarded the Party Badge this time, there are 13 party members with 70 years of Party membership and 2 party members with 65 years of Party membership. Notably, there are 2 party member couples receiving the 70-year Party Badge this time: Mr. Phung Van Thoi (born in 1926) and Mrs. Thai Thi Loi (born in 1927) from the Party Committee of Thinh Son commune.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong presented Party badges to the seniors. Along with the Party badges, seniors with 70 years of Party membership received 11 million VND, seniors with 65 years of Party membership received 8 million 340 thousand VND, along with a set of red silk clothes.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong thanked and acknowledged the contributions of the comrades who received the Party Badge. The Vietnamese Revolution has gone through many difficult, arduous and glorious periods, with times of great difficulty, but still firmly moved towards victory. Vietnam's position and status in the world have been increasingly consolidated and strengthened.
