Ms. Lu Thi Hoai, Lien Minh village, Chau Nga commune, said that both husband and wife are working as workers in Hanoi, but when they heard that the price of dried bamboo shoots was almost half higher than last year, they both quit their jobs to go to work on bamboo shoots. Since the beginning of the season, the couple has been going into the forest to pick bamboo shoots, bring them back to process and dry them to sell to traders. On average, each day the couple can dry nearly 5 kg of dried bamboo shoots. After each week, she earns over 7,000,000 VND.
