Get back lost wallet and documents thanks to facebook
(Baonghean.vn) - Mr. Phan Van Nam, an officer of the North Central Geological Federation (based in Vinh city) could not hide his joy when he received his wallet and important documents from a bus owner in Que Phong after seeing the information posted on Facebook by the person who found it.
According to Mr. Phan Van Nam, on September 13, on his way to work, he traveled from Chau Phong commune of Quy Chau district to Chau Thon commune of Que Phong district. While traveling, due to the bumpy road, he accidentally dropped his wallet in his shirt pocket, in the wallet there was an ID card, a car driver's license, a motorbike driver's license, 2 motorbike registrations, 2 ATM cards, and 1 million 170 thousand VND in cash.

“I work far away, the documents are very important, I did not think I would get my wallet back with all the documents intact. But surprisingly, when I went to Facebook, the website of the Que Phong People group, I saw information from Mr. Dung (from Block 2, Kim Son town) posting an ad to find the person who lost it. I was really happy and touched. I want to say thank you to him as well as this Facebook page. They let me nurture my faith in good things.”

Sharing with us, the person who found the lost item, who is also the owner of a bus company running the Quang Phong - Kim Son route (Que Phong), said: “On the evening of September 13, while taking a passenger home through Cao village, Quang Phong commune, I saw a wallet lying in the middle of the road so I stopped to pick it up. Checking the wallet, I found 1 million 170 thousand VND in cash and many important documents. I thought that when they lost it, like I lost it, they must be very worried, so I told my wife to post it on the Facebook group Nguoi Que Phong in the hope of finding the person who lost it and returning it.”
